CAMU CAMU berry from South America contains more vitamin C than any other plant - 2800 mg. Vitamin C per 100 grams of pulp. Camu Camu is considered significantly more effective than commercially produced vitamin C tablets. Compared to an orange, Camu Camu berries contain 50 times more vitamin C, ten times more iron, twice more vitamin B2 and three times more niacin (vitamin B3). The berry is also rich in potassium, calcium, phosphorus, beta-carotene and amino acids.
It is a powerful immune system booster and source of vitamins, protecting eye health, supporting the work of the nervous system and muscles, and providing energy. It has been used in depression and also in the prevention of senile dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
